We believe the Holy Scriptures to be the complete verbally, plenary, and inerrant Word of God.
We believe the study of the Scriptures and prayer are the two primary tools God has given us to expand our relationship with him.
We believe God to be eternal, never being created and never having an end.
We believe that God, though being only one God, exists in three distinct persons -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Each has unique functions and properties, but is equal to the others in power and being.
We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, being both totally God and totally human, that He physically came to the earth, being born of a virgin, and that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, was buried and physically rose again three days later.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells the believer at the point of salvation, baptizing them, regenerating them and sealing them until the day of redemption. He convicts all men of sin and for the believers he will teach, give gifts, guide, pray for, and fill them as they yield to God's will.
We believe that man is born with a sinful nature, and without the forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ's death on the cross, he is destined for eternal separation from God in hell.
We believe that, though all of mankind deserves eternal death as wages for their sins, God has lovingly and graciously provided a means of redemption for mankind through Jesus Christ. Those individuals that place their faith in Jesus Christ and his work on the cross, shall be forgiven of their sins (past, present, and future) and shall inherit eternal life.
We believe that water baptism is a command that believers are to obey after being redeemed through Jesus. Baptism is a way prescribed by God to proclaim to the public the change that has taken place in the individual's life because of Jesus Christ's work in the person's life. Baptism is not another means of salvation.
